Epoxy Coated Bars

Epoxy Coated TMT bars are a highly corrosion resistant variant of steel bars that are protected by Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating. It Protects the steel using several mechanisms. This coating is generally in the form of dry powder applied electrostatically to the surface of hot steel bars and covered with protective film. The coating used to cover the bars has excellent adhesion and it forms a lasting bond with the surface of the steel. The protective film keeps the epoxy-coated bars long-lasting as it prevents direct contact of corrosive elements with the surface of the steel. These bars are highly flexible and have a bent on a mandrel to avoid causing damage to the epoxy coating. It is widely used to protect concrete reinforcement bars, steel pipes, piping connections, etc. used in construction.
